The NEET 2020 Exam will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 3rd May 2020. NEET is a national level entrance exam for admission into MBBS/BDS courses provided by most of the medical colleges/universities in India. The exam will be conducted in pen and paper based mode. Medical Aspirants can appear for the exam as per their convenience. NEET is one of the major medical entrance exams in the country. Therefore, its preparation should be done accordingly.

The scores obtained by candidates in NEET Exam will determine his/her admission in the UG medical courses. It is important for the aspirants to know everything about the exam before appearing for it. Information at a Glance

  • Submission of NEET 2020 online application form will start from 2nd December 2019.
  • You are restricted to apply for NEET exam in online mode. There is no provision of offline submission of application form.
  • Students can submit their application form through NTA official website- / only.
  • Students must provide their own mobile number and email address.
  • Students need to upload their photograph (between 10 kb – 200 kb) and signature (between 4 kb – 30kb) in JPG/JPEG format.
  • They don’t need to send/submit confirmation page or any other documents to NTA by post/fax/hand.
  • Submitting false information will restrict you to appear in future exams conducted by NTA.
  • The exam fee once deposited will not be refunded under any circumstances. The possible application fee will be Rs.1400/- for unreserved category and Rs.750/- for OBC/ SC/ST/PwD/Transgender. Service/Processing charges & GST will be payable as per the rules.
  • Students can make payment of application fee through credit card, debit card, net banking and e-challan.

NEET Eligibility Criteria 2020

Applicant must satisfy the eligibility criteria laid down by the authority. Ineligible candidates will not be allowed to take the NEET examination.

Age limit: A candidate must have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December 2020. Upper age for candidates from General category is 25 years and 30 years for candidates from OBC/SC/ST categories.

  • For Unreserved Category: born on or between 05.05.1995 and 31.12.2003
  • For SC/ST/OBC/PwD Category: born on or between 05.05.1990 and 31.12.2003

Educational Qualification: A candidate must have qualified class 12th with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as compulsory subjects.

Percentage Required: A candidate must have scored minimum 50% marks in the class 12th.

NEET Application Form 2020

Aspirant for NEET 2020 can avail the application form via online mode only. The form can be obtained by visiting the official website of the NTA. Candidates need to register for the exam before proceeding for the application form. Once the registration is done, the login details will be sent to the registered Email ID and mobile number. Using these details, candidates need to login and fill the NEET application form. Candidates will be required to upload the scanned copy of signature and photograph while filling the form. They will also have to pay a certain amount of application fee for the exam. The applications received without the payment will be considered invalid.

What do you need to keep ready?

  • Details such as your name, mother’s name, father’s name, Aadhaar Number (last 4 digits)/ Passport number/ Election Card (EPIC No.)/Ration Card Number/ Bank Account Number/Other valid Govt. Identity Card Number, Address, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, email id etc. must be kept ready.
  • Photograph: size of 10 kb to 200 kb in JPG/JPEG format
  • Signature: size of 4 kb to 30 kb in JPG/JPEG format
  • Students have to provide one of the following identity details:
  • Indian Nationals of all States: Aadhaar Number (last 4 digits), Ration Card Number, Election Card (EPIC No.), Bank Account Number, Passport Number or Number of any other ID card issued by Government.
  • Foreign Nationals/ OCI/PIO: Passport number
  • NRIs: Aadhaar Number (last 4 digits), Passport Number

Instructions to apply online for NEET 2020

  • You need to read the information brochure and confirm eligibility for the exam.
  • Candidates have to provide a complete postal address with pin code and email address (own or parents) for future communication with NTA.
  • Candidates must ensure that they are providing their own mobile number and email address.
  • Candidates belong to the State of J & K need to submit online Self Declaration for seats under 15% All India Quota.
  • The application form must be filled and submitted in online mode. There is no need to send confirmation page or any other documents to the authority.

Application Fee

The candidates from the General /OBC category need to pay Rs. 1400/- whereas, candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH categories need to pay Rs. 750/-. The fee can be paid through Credit card/Net banking/Debit card/UPI/E-wallet.

NEET Admit Card 2020

The admit card for NEET 2020 Examination can be downloaded from the official website of NTA. The admit card will contain the details such as exam date, venue, reporting time etc. Candidates should keep a printout of the admit card for further use. The admit card must be carried to the exam hall, without it the entry will be denied to the students. Candidates need to paste a photograph on the admit card and one photograph also needs to be carried along with the admit card. The admit card will not be sent by post or by any means other than the one mentioned.

MHT CET 2020 exam.

Maharashtra state common entrance test cell will conduct the MHT CET 2020 exam. This exam will offer admissions to the 1st year of B.E/B.Tech, B.Pharmacy and Pharma D courses in the state of Maharashtra. MHT CET Eligibility Criteria 2020

Every candidate needs to fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria in order to appear for the MHT CET 2020 exam.

For B.E/B.Tech Admission

  • The candidate must be an Indian national.
  • The candidates must have passed HSC or equivalent exam with Maths, Physics and any one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical or vocational subjects with at least 50% marks (45% for candidates from reserved categories belonging from Maharashtra state only)
  • The applicants having a diploma in engineering with at least 50% marks are also eligible (45% for Maharashtra state candidates from reserved categories)
  • The candidates having B.Sc degree with at least 50% marks (45% for Maharashtra state candidates) and studied Mathematics subject at 10+2 level can also apply.

For B.Pharma

  • The candidate must be an Indian national.
  • The aspirant must have passed HSC or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and any one of Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for Maharashtra state candidates from reserved categories)

For Pharma D

  • The applicant should have passed HSC or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and any one of Mathematics/ Biotechnology/ Biology subjects with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for Maharashtra state candidates from reserved categories)

MHT CET Application Form 2020

The aspiring candidates will be able to access the MHT CET 2020 application form in online mode through the official website i.e. The candidates have to register themselves first before being able to fill the application form. The aspirants have to provide all the necessary academic, educational and personal details in the application form. While filling the details the application form, the candidates have to upload the scanned copies of recent passport size photograph and signature.

After submitting the application form successfully, the candidates should take a printout of the confirmation page for future references.

Application Fee

The application form for MHT CET 2020 will not be considered complete unless the candidate pays the prescribed application fee as given below:

MHT CET 2020 Exam Pattern

There are 3 papers to be conducted in the MHT CET 2020 exam for different subjects as given below:

  • Paper 1: Mathematics
  • Paper 2: Physics and Chemistry
  • Paper 3: Biology

Candidates looking for B.E/B.Tech admission need to appear for both Paper 1 and Paper 2

For B.Pharma /Pharma D. course, the candidates needs to appear for Paper 2 and any one of Paper 1 or 3

The pattern for all three papers is given below:

  • Mode of exam: Offline (OMR sheet Based)
  • Duration of Exam: 90 Minutes for each paper
  • Type of Question: Objective Type MCQs
  • Marking scheme: Each Question in paper 1 will carry 2 marks and each question in Paper 2 and 3 will carry 1 mark

MHT CET 2020 syllabus

In the syllabus, 20% weightage will be given to the class 11th curriculum and 80% weightage will be given to the class 12th curriculum. The subject wise unit or chapters for MHT CET 2020 are given below. Find more about the syllabus

How to prepare for MHT CET 2020?

The difficulty level for MHT CET 2020 exam will be similar to that of JEE Main for Maths, Physics and chemistry section and similar to that of NEET for Biology section. MHT CET Admit Card 2020

The candidates will be able to download the admit card from the official website. Please note that the issuance of admit card will not be considered as the acceptance of eligibility. The details regarding the MHT CET 2020 exam such as exam date, venue, schedule etc. will be mentioned on the admit card. No candidate will be permitted to appear for the exam without a valid admit card.

MHT CET 2020 Result

After the evaluation of answer sheets, the authorities will release the result along with a downloadable mark sheet on the official website. The candidates have to login using their registration id and password in order to check the result. The answer key for each paper will also be available on the official website.

The competent authority will issue the merit list and invite the successful candidates for document verification and seat allotment.
